Become a Lead Advocate
What is an Alzheimer's lead advocate?
Alzheimer's Lead Advocates build effective personal and working relationships with targeted elected officials and serve as the primary contact between the Alzheimer’s Association in your local legislative district. Lead Advocates participate in advocacy training activities, write letters and make phone calls to local legislators to advocate for Alzheimer's issues and make 1-2 visits per year to your local legislator's office in your district. Lead Advocates are also expected to attend Alzheimer's Advocacy Day at the State Capitol. Training and support is provided.
