A free conference for caregivers of loved ones with memory loss.
Conference attendees will be offered a range of vital information specific to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Topics related to the medical, legal and financial aspects of disease management will be presented in a format that appeals to new and seasoned caregivers alike.
There will be opportunities to ask questions of experts, speak directly with a range of service providers, and receive information about the supportive resources available to assist caregivers at every stage of the disease process.
Lastly, caregivers can sometimes feel isolated in meeting the ever-expanding demands of this role. This conference provides them an opportunity to connect with others who understand the profoundly unique challenges of dementia caregiving and the necessity of receiving support for the journey. A resource fair, lunch and plenty of free parking are included.
