The Illinois Chapter offers community and family education and outreach programs throughout the year. These programs provide high-quality disease and dementia education for those directly affected by the disease. Education helps caregivers identify triggers, understand symptoms, provide strategies to learn to cope with symptoms, and provide guidance for planning for a future with the disease. Many of these programs are free of charge, but some conferences and workshops do have a registration fee attached to them.
