Save the Date for Unforgettable Art
By Marc Gentzler Join the Alzheimer’s Association- Greater Illinois Chapter and Advocates for Alzheimer’s Awareness (AWARE) on April 19, 2008 for Unforgettable Art. In its fifth year of existence, Unforgettable Art continues to celebrate the lives of the many Illinoisans touched by this devastating disease. The event will feature 50 of the areas most sought after artists in addition to a variety of beverages and delectable hors‘d oeuvres. The night will culminate with an auction where you will have the opportunity to bid on the beautiful paintings that were created that night. “Unforgettable Art is a fabulous opportunity to support the 210,000 people in Illinois who are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease,” said Kate McEnaney, Senior Manager, Special Events for the Greater Illinois Chapter. “The money that is raised will help us continue to offer vital community education programs. We must keep offering these programs because every 71 seconds someone develops Alzheimer’s disease” Unforgettable Art will take place at Arachnid, 6212 Material Avenue, Loves Park, Illinois 61111.
