Advocate Day
Alzheimer’s Advocate Day will take place on November 9, 2004 in Springfield,
Illinois, beginning at 10:00 AM. This is during the Veto Session of the
Illinois General Assembly, so your legislator should be in town.
A program is being put together, but the days events will include a briefing of health care issues surrounding Alzheimer’s disease, and the Alzheimer’s Association’s platform and issues. Invited legislators will address the group. After lunch (which will be provided), we will set out to visit legislators with our urgent message.
For more information or to register for Advocate Day call or email Brian at 217.726.5184 or brian.schwarberg@alz.org. Or visit our website at: www.alzheimers-illinois.org/advocacy to register online.
