Attend the 2006 Chicago Auto
Show Preview Party The 2006 Chicago Auto Show preview party on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, promises to be a sensory-overload experience for those eager to get a sneak peak at all the new cars ahead of tens of thousands who will pack Chicago’s McCormick Place for the next 10 days when the Auto Show is open to the public. Attending the event – “First Look for Charity” – also is a way for participants to support the work of one or more of 19 benefiting charities, including the Alzheimer’s Association. A portion of each $200 per-person ticket price is donated to designated charities or divided equally among all charities, if no designation is made. ”We’re thrilled to be a part of “First Look for Charity” again this year,” said Catherine Prusko, associate director of program services, for the Greater Illinois Chapter’s Skokie office. “The really wonderful part of the event is talking with participants who visit our display—so many of them want to talk about someone they know who is living with dementia. Of course, it’s also an elegant and very fun evening, with lavish decorations, beautiful cars, delectable food and the opportunity to rub elbows with celebrities.” “First Look for Charity” tickets can be purchased from the Greater Illinois Chapter, either online or by calling the Skokie office at 847.933.2413. “First Look for Charity” and the Chicago Auto Show are presented by the new-car dealers of Chicagoland and northwest Indiana who form the Chicago Automobile Trade Association.
