Join us in Washington, DC to Raise Alzheimer Awareness, Broaden Support Base
We invite you to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association’s 17th Annual Public Policy Forum, April 30 – May 3 in Washington, DC, and join advocates nationwide to let our legislators know more about the impact of  Alzheimer’s, that we need their support and that by working together we can win the fight against Alzheimer’s!

We’ll have many and productive opportunities during the Forum to prepare for meetings with our legislators to talk about:

  1. how we’re able to talk about “hope” in relation to Alzheimer’s instead of “hopeless.”

  2. the tremendous progress being made in the science and care aspects of Alzheimer’s and that we’ve laid the groundwork for major Alzheimer breakthroughs in the years ahead.

  3. how important it is to work with them to increase federal funding for Alzheimer research to $1 billion annually and to improve the care and quality of life for those with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers.

  4. the individuals and families who are impacted by Alzheimer’s every hour of every day.

The education, training and tools also will help us with equally important and successful advocacy efforts on the state and local levels.
